On Tuesday 19th November, Maria Santos will present “Application of Circular Economy Strategies to Airport Decarbonisation Roadmaps”. How can circular economy strategies contribute to airport decarbonisation roadmaps? Introducing the novel concept of airport metabolism, María will share the preliminary findings of her doctoral thesis and present how building on energy and material flows can contribute to guiding decision-making processes in airports’ commitments to achieving net-zero emissions.
